---PAMUKKALE DAY TOUR

The thermal springs of Pamukkale are an incredible place created by nature itself and attracting both local and foreign tourists every year. From Turkish, the name translates as "cotton castle". Indeed, when you look at Pamukkale from a distance or in a photo, it seems that you see a large castle in front of you, built from many cotton bolls. Pamukkale is located in the southwestern part of Turkey, in the province of Denizli. From Antalya, the geothermal springs of Pamukkale are 175 km away. From other cities, the distance is more significant: from Side - 295 km; from Belek - 262 km; from Kemer - 262 km; But it will not be difficult to go there from anywhere in Turkey, having bought an excursion and thereby leaving us to organize everything for you!

In addition to beauty, the pools in Pamukkale have amazing healing properties. Some tourists note that it feels like you are in a champagne pool. And all this is due to the special composition of water, which is saturated with calcium sulfate, carbon dioxide, calcium bicarbonate, magnesium, and also has a high level of natural ionization. Such a "magic" composition helps to calm the nervous system, relieve tension, helps to cope with diseases of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract and musculoskeletal system. The skin is also grateful for such baths.

Of course, having bought once, you won’t be healed of all diseases, but it’s still nice to think how useful swimming in such a pool is. The constant water temperature here is +36ºС, so there is no end to tourists all year round.

Unfortunately, over the years of tourism, travertines in some places began to resemble not a cotton fortress, but snowdrifts in our latitudes. But after the Turkish authorities turned to UNESCO, most of the terraces were restored, returning them to their former snow-whiteness.

❗️By the way, the resort of Pamukkale and with it the remains of Hierapolis are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
